“Roggles”

Rock climbing + AR goggles = “Roggles”

A set of augmented reality goggles used to allow climbers to visualize routes, understand specific holds, and compete/share with friends.

MUJI Scooter

A minimalist solution to “last mile” transportation

An e-scooter designed to cover short distances in style and comfort. This design features a hybrid drive system that harvests power from the movement of the user and stores it for later use.

Phone Holder

A new take on a common problem, customization included

Phone holders are something almost everyone uses, yet all of them have similar issues; lack of stability, unibody construction and no color or personalization.

Smart Speaker

A modular smart speaker designed for a range of environments

This speaker is versatile and works everywhere. In a home, you can separate the speakers for surround sound. At the beach, you can stack them for loud sound.

Personal Projects

Ready, Set, Draw

Pocket Protectors are so 2000-late

Lots of artists like to keep their pen kit on them, but pens can be hard to find in your bag when you need them most. The idea behind this was simple, quick easy, access with tactile distinction for the pens you need most.

Lampshade

Ikea only has so many options…

When looking at different options for lighting in a new apartment I decided to try and use a 3D printer to create a unique lampshade that could be made at home for cheap.

Experience

I’ve worked in multiple design studios both big and small, each experience bringing new insights. My experiences across the range of environments have taught me how to tailor my skills to the needs of the project.

Even in my time off I never stop designing; one of my favorite hobbies is using CAD and 3D printing to design specific solutions to small, yet meaningful, areas of my life that improve my everyday experiences.

I’m based in San Diego, but available to meet virtually to consult on remote project opportunities.

About Me

I'm a Bay Area native with a passion for the great outdoors. Growing up, I spent my time surfing, mountain biking, and enjoying nature as much as I could.

Despite not having access to technology until sixth grade, once I did, I quickly became enamored with it. I became so interested in what the world of technology had to offer that, by the end of high school, I was building and racing FPV drones on a competitive level.

My love for both technology and nature continues to influence my design work to this day. I enjoy focusing on technical, human centered design that emphasizes user experience above all. I am always eager to express these passions through my work as I bring new projects to life.
